We use theoretical and computational methods to investigate exotic electronic structures, unconventional magnetism, light-matter interactions, and optoelectronic properties in solids, with a focus on quantum materials and their ultrafast dynamics — especially under intense laser excitation. 

Our approach combines quantum-mechanical, first-principles methods — including real-time time-dependent density functional theory (TDDFT) and mixed quantum-classical dynamics (surface hopping and Ehrenfest dynamics), along with tight-binding model, atomistic spin model, and other simplified physical models.
