I have been teaching and having fun with kids for over 30 years!  I started working at Anneliese Schools in Laguna Beach in 1985 as a high school student and  fell in love with the profession then. I continued to work as a teacher using  my creativity, enthusiasm and sense of fun for the following  3 decades. I earned my BA from UC Davis in Spanish and my teaching credential from Sacramento State University.

 I love learning about my student’s cultures, and I ask a lot of questions.  I view myself as a lifelong learner and am curious about the world around me.  I constantly read, long to travel, and enjoy staying healthy by walking and doing Pilates. 

My husband is a teacher as well.  Both of our boys are in college pursuing their dreams, making us laugh and pretty much, making us proud all of the time!
