Welcome to Physical Education with Mr. Harris!


Class Description 

This course is designed to give students the opportunity to learn and develop the basic fundamentals of aerobic techniques, aerobic training, physical activities, overall fitness training, conditioning and endurance. This course includes both lecture and activity sessions. Students will be empowered to make good choices, be mindful, meet challenges, develop positive routines, and behaviors in fitness, wellness fundamentals, fitness concepts, and conditioning techniques used for achieving and maintaining one's desired physical fitness.  This course will include daily workouts, 30 day challenges, fitness tracking, walking, running, mile testing, a wide variety of sports, and strategies to improve overall health and fitness.  Students will explore the concepts of spatial awareness, hand eye coordination, student teaching, sports and strategies, proper hydration levels and mental wellness.  Students will create their own specialized fitness plan based on each individual's needs.   All assignments will be posted on google classroom.
