Fact Fluency

Addition and Subtraction Fluency:

Beginning in spring, students will be expected to complete a page of 30 mixed addition and subtraction problems within three minutes (with sums/differences no greater than five). If students show mastery of kindergarten fact fluency by passing 3 times, students will be given a challenge paper with sums and differences to 10.

• If you would like to print and practice at home here in the link.
• Test will be given multiple times a week.
• This is an end-of-the-year benchmark, so students will be expected to pass this test three times (to ensure fluency) before the end of May.
• We will have an ice cream party near the end of the year to celebrate all students who have passed 3 times. Students who do not pass will be given an otter pop to celebrate their hard work.
