About Miss Taylor

Hi, my name is Savannah Taylor and this will be my fifth year teaching Kindergarten at Star. I have been teaching for eight years, and this will be my 6th year at Star Academy. I grew up in the Central Valley and moved to the Sacramento area 14 years ago. I attended UC Davis for my Bachelor’s Degree and then went on to receive my teaching credential and Master’s of Art in Education. In 2021, I completed my Master’s of Art in Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) and I am very passionate about incorporating SEL in our classroom community. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy reading, getting creative in the kitchen, playing with my two wonderful dogs, and spending time outdoors.
