GOLDEN APPLE SCHOLARS OF ILLINOIS (four year total financial assistance = approx. $23,000)…Students with at least a 2.5 GPA interested in becoming teachers in the State of Illinois. Unofficial copies of high school or college transcripts are accepted. Golden Apple Scholars must agree to teach for five years in an Illinois school of need. WASHINGTON COUNTY FARM BUREAU FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP - The Washington County Farm Bureau Foundation General Scholarship is for students pursuing a 2-year, 4-year or Vocational Degree. SIU CREDIT UNION SCHOLARSHIP …Applicant or the applicant's legal guardian must be a SIU Credit Union member in good standing and maintain that membership status throughout the duration of the award to apply for the scholarship. AORN CHAPTER 1402 REIMBURSEMENT SCHOLARSHIP - AORN Chapter 1402 is sponsoring a scholarship. This scholarship will be awarded to one high school senior from Southern Illinois who intends to pursue a degree in a healthcare-related field. Applicants must be ranked in the upper 1/4 of the class after 7 semesters and enrolled in a college or university for the fall. Applications are available at the bottom of the page. THE ENGINEERING SOCIETY OF ILLINOIS - ESI (Formerly the Illinois Society of Professional Engineers – ISPE) is offering college scholarships to graduating high school seniors who plan to study engineering. This year, three scholarships of $5,000 will be awarded. The scholarships are available to students in our 11-county area who meet the academic eligibility requirements. In addition, to be eligible, the applicant must attend an engineering program at an Illinois or Missouri university or college that is ABET-accredited. The applicant must complete the entire application and must submit the teacher recommendations and transcript with the application, postmarked by April 3, 2026.
FARMERS AND MERCHANTS NATIONAL BANK SCHOLARSHIP - Farmers and Merchants National Bank is launching a brand new scholarship opportunity for graduating seniors. We will give away $1,000 each to a graduating senior in four local high schools: Nashville, Lebanon, Mascoutah and O’Fallon. Students can pick up the application from any of our Farmers and Merchants National Bank branches. The application is available below. The submission deadline is April 10.
CHERYL L. FINKE MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP - Cheryl L Finke was a 1982 graduate of NCHS and graduate of SIUC. Applicants must be a graduating senior attending either Southern Illinois University Carbondale or Edwardsville. The application can be found below and is due April 15 in the NCHS guidance office.
CRAIG RANGE FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP - One $2,500 and one $1,000 scholarship will be awarded. To be eligible, you must be enrolling in a mental health field of study. Additional requirements and the application procedure are shared in a flyer below. The deadline to apply is April 17.
BRADFORD NATIONAL BANK SCHOLARSHIP - Bradford National Bank has announced that it will award two $1,000 academic scholarships to students of NCHS. The Bradford National Bank scholarship application is online at bradfordbank.com/students. The deadline to apply is April 17.
