Studio 67

Studio 67 is the live production laboratory for Nash Community College's Broadcast Production Technology (BPT) program and provides multimedia production services for NCC marketing, departmental promotions, special events coverage, live streaming, and commercial production. Studio staff serve as instructors for the BPT program and associated labs.

Big Bang Radio is Nash Community College’s 1000-watt college radio station playing indie, college, local artists plus a variety of classics! Big Bang Radio operates local on 89.1FM as a FCC-licensed non-commercial educational radio station and online, streaming worldwide.

Join Drew each week for a trip back to the 80s where you'll explore musical trends, genres, countdowns, top hits, and pop culture all from the decade of excess and radical tunes.

Broadcasting & Production Technology

NCC’s Studio 67 is also the instructional workspace & laboratory for our Broadcasting and Production Technology students. Studio 67 producers serve as instructors for this exciting, hands-on Associate’s degree.

The BPT program was launched in 2018 and teaches audio/radio production, TV/video production, editing, performance, and much much more. 

BPT Students

The BPT program offers students hands-on opportunities with the equipment, techniques, and skills to plan, film, record, edit, and produce audio and video projects in order to prepare them for jobs in the media and communications industry.
