Individual Counseling

Short-term individual counseling is available to any student, if needed.


Small Group

Small groups are offered throughout the year for any student who may be struggling in a number of ways. Permission slips are sent home with all students during the first marking period of the school year. Topics can include, but are not limited to, Changing Families, Friendship, Grief and Loss, Emotion Management, and Social Skills.


Classroom Lessons

All students in grades K-5 receive numerous classroom guidance lessons throughout the school year. Some topics include emotion identification and management, empathy, problem-solving skills, friendship, and career and college readiness (Chapter 339).
