Kids eLearning is a full-time, short-term or longer online learning option for NASD students K-12.
Kids eLearning is designed to be a flexible option to meet the changing needs of students throughout the 2020-2021 school year.
All courses are taught by NASD teachers using NASD curriculum and materials.
Students use Chromebooks to access Schoology, Class DoJo, or Google Classroom resources.
A minimum of two (2) weeks enrollment in Kids eLearning is required before returning to in-person instruction.
Kids eLearning is designed for students who choose an online option for a short period of time (minimum two week time period) or a longer period of time, possibly the full school year.

NCA provides an integrated, team-based system of support from the NASD administrators to subject area content teachers. Students access content lessons designed to support learning with supports tailored to a student's needs. The program offers:

For K-5 students a Learning Guide Parent Account and Consumable Student Materials are provided
What is the difference between Kids eLearning and Northampton Cyber Academy (NCA)?
Both programs are aligned to the PA Core and Academic Standards. Kids eLearning is taught by NASD teachers using the same curriculum and resources used within the physical classroom. The Kids eLearning program is designed to meet the changing needs of students/families during the 2020-2021 school year. Students may remain in Kids eLearning for the entire school year or for a minimum of a two week time period as needed.
Northampton Cyber Academy is a complete cyber academy program with courses K-12 taught by PA certified teachers and using PA Core and Academic Standards. NCA courses are aligned to the NASD curriculum courses. The NCA program is designed to be a longer-term online option for students and families. Some families have been in the NCA for years. Others may choose the cyber option for a year or two or less and then go back to the regular school building classroom.
