Math:

• Math homework is assigned Monday-Thursday. Math homework should be returned the next morning. 

Spelling:

• Spelling homework is assigned every Monday. The spelling packet is due on the Thursday of that week. We will have a test on Friday.

Daily Practice:

• Students should try to make time to read every day at home. This can be completed independently or with someone else. I recommend 20 minutes of reading each night!

• By third grade, students are expected to know their addition and subtraction facts. By the end of the year, they should also know their multiplication facts (1-10). Practicing these each night is very helpful!

Projects:

• Throughout the year, students will complete book reports and other projects, which will be assigned with plenty of notice!
