Homework Policy

Daily Reading – 20 minutes

• A parent/guardian signs the agenda each night when complete.

• Agendas are checked daily and count as a homework grade.
  
  

Multiplication Fact Practice – 10 minutes

• Students practice multiplication facts each night. There will be a weekly fact check.

• I’ll send home a notice and flashcards on the Monday we begin.  

  • Week 1: 0–2 facts 

  • Week 2: 3–4 facts (19 new facts to memorize)

  • Week 3: 5–6 facts (15 new facts to memorize)

  • Week 4: 7–8 facts (11 new facts to memorize)

  • Week 5: 9–12 facts (10 new facts to memorize)

Spelling Tests

• Will begin in mid-late September
