I was born and raised in Cincinnati where my family still resides. I am very close to my family and visit as often as I can. In high school, I was highly involved in musical theater, show choir, and vocal competitions. I was also a 4-year member of the Varsity school dance team that performed at basketball halftime and at numerous competitions around Ohio. I was an Honor Student and a member of the National Honor Society. Outside of school, I was very involved in my church youth group and served as a Youth Leader.
I am a proud graduate of The Ohio State University (GO BUCKS!) where I received three degrees: a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with Honors in the Liberal Arts, and a Master of Education - Secondary Mathematics 7-12. I have taken 40+ graduate semester hours beyond my Master's degree with the focus of my additional graduate courses surrounding the topics of mathematics, psychology, technology, school culture, gifted learners, and educational practices. I am a forever learner and enjoy finding new ways to better my craft and give back.
I enjoy spending my time with family and friends, traveling, photography, seeing movies, watching performances and attending sporting events.! :)
It has always been my dream to pursue a career in the field of mathematics. My desire to become a high school math teacher was a goal since I was in high school myself. I feel beyond blessed to be living my dream! I love coming to work every day, and it is a privilege to have the opportunity to work with your children.
