The NYS Scholarships for Academic Excellence provide up to $1,500 per year for up to five years of undergraduate study in New York State.  Naples HS uses class rank to determine the winners. More information can be found here:

The Horatio Alger Association Scholarship for High School Juniors is now open!   

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

• 
  Be enrolled full time as a high school junior in the United States

• Exhibit a strong commitment to pursue and complete a bachelor’s degree at an accredited non-profit public or private institution in the United States (students may start their studies at a two-year institution and then transfer to a four-year institution)

• Demonstrate critical financial need ($65,000 or lower adjusted gross family income is required)

• Be involved in co-curricular and community service activities

• Display integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity

• Maintain a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0; and

• Be a United States citizen

Ontario Children's Foundation Interest Free Loan

The Education Loan application is fully online and user-friendly. I am sending this

reminder out a little earlier than last year so that you and your students have an ample

amount of time to explore the process and gather the necessary information in

preparation for submitting the application(s) by the May 31st deadline.

Once you click on the OCF link above, you will see the Educational Loans tab. In this

location you will be able to see that OCF continues to offer interest-free loans to

students who wish to pursue a degree in higher education or wish to enroll in a

vocational program. There are also Educational Grants available for unexpected

educational expenses, including supplies for vocational training programs.

 Interest-free educational and vocational loans are awarded to financially

qualifying students; who are

 Under the age of 21

 Ontario County residents

It is not necessary for the student to attend an institution of higher education or a

vocational program in Ontario County or New York State.

The application process is straightforward. Once an application is submitted, the

Education Committee will review the application and will follow-up with the student in

mid-May to review their application.

Student Scholarship Application Package

for the Genesee Valley Chapter of the New York Water Environment Association, Inc.

The Genesee Valley Chapter of the New York Water Environment Association will be offering up to two (2)

scholarships for a total amount of $2,500:

• Students enrolled at a college or university who are or will be enrolled in an environmentally-related

program;

• High school students who will be enrolled in an environmentally related program in a two-year or four-year

college or university.

Please submit your completed application no later than May 31, 2024.
