A hands-on, distinctive career development experience for D203 career pathway students to explore their future and grow their competitive advantage
The Naperville District 203 Career Internship Program provides eligible students with a meaningful Work-Based Learning Experience as students work toward earning their College and Career Pathway Endorsement (CCPE). Through structured internships aligned with each student’s career pathway, students build important workplace skills, reinforce technical skills within their pathway, grow their professional network, and build clarity around post-secondary plans, goals, and decision-making.
Applications for Summer 2026 and SY 2026-27 are closed.
Students must fulfill all of the following prior to enrolling in the Career Internship course:
16 years of age or older.
Selected a career pathway in SchooLinks in consultation with counselor.
Taken at least one required pathway course in chosen career pathway. Priority will be given to students who have taken all required pathway courses.
The goal of earning a College & Career Pathway Endorsement (CCPE).
Career Internship application approved during course registration.
Note: Students enrolled in Career Internship are also encouraged to have an early dismissal or enroll in online PE to provide flexibility in their schedule for internship opportunities.
Note: Students are typically rising seniors or seniors when they participate in the D203 Career Internship Program.
