Imagine that you are planning a road trip to explore the state you chose for your state project. What are important place you would visit? Are there any special foods you would want to eat? Are there cultural events you would want to attend? Follow the directions below to collaborate with some friends to create an itinerary to share with the class!
Step 1: Identify 2-4 peers who have chosen the same state as you OR a state in the same region as you. Then complete the Google Form below.
Step 2: Meet with your group. Use the link below to remake into a padlet that your team will use to display your road trip plans.
Step 3: Plan your road trip! Be sure to include the following:
- Include 5-10 destinations. These can include historical sites, museums, stadiums, restaurants, zoos, National Parks, etc. Please be sure to include at least one of the each of the following types of destinations:
- historical
- cultural
- sports
- nature
- For each destination please write a short paragraph explaining why this is an important place to see while visiting your state/region.
- Include at least 3 additional elements to your padlet. These can include but are not limited to photographs, website links, or videos.
- Use the Rubric linked below to help guide your work on this project.
