Waxed Linen
Learn how to make a period-plausible alternative to plastic wrap or aluminum foil. While the history of waxed linen food wrap is debatable (let me know if you have good resources for it in the SCA's time period), it is a plausible way to transport and protect foods. I will have examples of larger pieces of food wrap and you will be able to make-and-take a cup cover!I will have pre-cut cup covers available, but if you would prefer to use your own fabric, please bring a 6" circle of cotton, linen or silk.
