For too long, the rats have fled to the shadows as the spangs claim dominance over Beltane’s festivities. As rains sweep through the lands, the rats' horde boils forth, united under their shameless Rat King to wreak vengeance upon their oppressors.

The spangs bow to their Sovereign, swearing to protect their lands from the teeming horde. Their outcome looks dire, but they readily face their fate.

Both sides seek eagle-eyed individuals, skilled in the arts of ranged warfare, to fight for their cause. Come choose a side (or be conscripted) and loose death upon thine foes.

Inspired by the enchanting theme of the event, Once Upon a Beltane, Their Excellencies would be absolutely thrilled to hear your most splendid filk of a beloved fairytale or Disney song. Please be sure to have at least two pieces ready, with one being a chance to truly shine with your 'bring your best' selection. 

The competition will unfold on Saturday night, following evening court. There, we will come together around the warm glow of the fireside to enjoy the performances and indulge in delightful bardic sing-alongs of our cherished SCA and medieval songs.

Disney princesses are great and all, but what about the bad guys? They need love too! Come to Beltane and be the hero of the villains by taking out those pesky goody two-shoes good guys and become the next Thrown Weapons Champion for the Barony of Namron! Be prepared to have fun, try new things, and maybe defend a cow. Bonus points for wearing garb/colors to represent a Disney villain, and maybe points for representing a hero… maybe.
