not on beaches or in mountains, but in vineyards and wine caves. Wine tastings with strangers turned into lifelong memories, and I fell in love with the people behind the bottles. I met generational winemakers in Champagne, geologists reshaping the natural wine scene in Sicily, and small producers whose craft is their legacy.
But when I returned home to Brooklyn and Houston, I realized something was missing.
I wasn’t interested in commercial wines pushed by distributors. I wanted the finest quality, shared in good company, with the stories of the people who made them.
That’s how WinOt was born. I started bringing home cases from my favorite producers and hosting intimate tastings-
celebrating my fiancé’s birthday in Galveston, throwing my annual holiday party in Brooklyn, and now, curating exclusive experiences at my favorite minority-owned businesses in NYC.
WinOt is about more than wine.
It’s about falling in love with places, people, and experiences that matter.
Let’s celebrate the small producers, the hidden gems, and the communities that make our cities beautiful—together.
