Join Music Nairn for the next event in their 'Music Magic' series for children! They are inviting the talented Kosmos Ensemble to Nairn Community & Arts Centre from 2.30-3.30pm on Sunday 30 November for an interactive kids concert.

The participatory concert promises lively music from all around the world combined with fun musical games. It's designed to be creative, unique and build confidence in music-making!

- For 5-11 year olds.

Re-defining the relationship between classical and world music, The Times newspaper describes Kosmos as having: "telepathic rapport, dazzling virtuosity, serious scholarship, intellectual curiosity and impeccable musicianship, I defy you not to be mesmerised."

The musicians:

Harriet Mackenzie (violin): International soloist who has recorded concertos with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Gramophone Magazine praises her "faultless technique and unfailing insight."

Meg-Rosaleen Hamilton (viola): Specialises in world/folk styles including Celtic, Romanian, Greek, and Middle-Eastern music. Described as "truly evocative...charming and vivacious."

Miloš Milivojević (accordion): Serbian classical accordionist and winner of major international competitions. The Times calls him "a hurricane of imaginative invention."  

This year's Children in Need will take place on Friday 14th November.  Dress as you please or your favourite character/hero - Donation  £1.
