ADT FACULTY
During these uncertain times, it is more important than ever to reflect on all of the positive things that have been going on across the ADT Faculty. Here is a little of what we have been up to...
March saw Senior phase pupils (S4-6) return to all of our subjects across ADT. Making up nearly 25% of the practical subjects in the school it certainly was busy! Returning pupils from National 5 & Higher subjects all worked so hard during their time in school. Well done to everyone involved in the process and thank you all for your hard work to make the most of your time in school.
Next term is going to be busy for the Senior Phase pupils while we conduct our subject assessments. Make sure to prepare effectively by reflecting on your learning so far and making a plan for revision.
You can find useful revision tips here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/articles/zw8qpbk
Make sure to reach out to your ADT teacher if you need some support with your assessment prep and revision. Remember there are loads of resources on the ADT website.
A HUGE WELL DONE to all pupils for their hard work over the past term. It has been a challenging time for everyone and we are looking forward to welcoming you all back, face to face, after the Easter break.
Have a great holiday! Make sure to rest and spend some time doing something that you enjoy.
Digital Clothes: Could it make fashion more sustainable?
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/technology-56264555
It's no secret that our fast fashion habit is causing irreparable damage. The industry contributes more to climate change than the yearly emissions of air travel and sea travel combined. While we should all be aiming to consume less, and recycle more, what if you could buy a look that had zero environmental impact?
What do you think? Would you buy an outfit that you could never physically wear?

"NFTs, or non-fungible tokens. NFTs—digital tokens tied to assets that can be bought, sold and traded—are enabling artists like Boykins to profit from their work more easily than ever."
