The FSA helps connect families and staff at NIS.
The purpose of the FSA is to contribute to the development and improvement of all aspects of school life by cooperating with NIS to advance the school’s interests and promote the well-being of the students, parents / guardians,
and staff.
The FSA Constitution can be found inside the NIS Parent Partner Charter.
Every NIS parent, guardian, and staff member is automatically a member of the FSA. There is no cost to join.
Every FSA member is welcome to attend monthly Executive Committee Meeetings. Every FSA member can also vote for officers and vote on changes to the FSA Constitution before the Annual General Meeting in May.
FSA events are announced in the Sunday email newsletter.
NIS parents and guardians (including staff with children at NIS) also use a private community platform called Classlist.
Classlist makes it easy to connect directly with parents in your child's class and grade. You can use Classlist to ask for advice or share information, find out about FSA events, join informal groups for hiking or day trips, or even start a group of your own.
The FSA Executive Committee page includes a list of committee members and email addresses.
