About the Department

The department was establish in 1998 . Three Year B.Sc. General Course was introduced in 1998 and Three Year B.Sc. Honours in Mathematics Course was introduced in 2006.

The Department of Mathematics is comprised of two Assistant Professors and two State Aided College Teachers (SACT).

Department maintains a persistently satisfactory academic record in the university examinations. Teachers engage in interactive session to upgrade students’ academic penchant. Remedial classes are taken to bolster their merit and variegated assignments are given at regular intervals to infuse confidence in the students. Every student in the department is encouraged to give seminars on topics related to the course to have confidence and grasp over the subject. Students of the department take perform in various college activities like publication of wall magazine, wall posters, social work and cultural activities. The Department of Mathematics has purchased Math Lab software to help the student with UGC Grants.
