About KRC (Library)

College library is spread over an area of 562.44Sqm having separate sections for stack, book circulation, photocopying, internet center, periodical, newspaper, reading hall and office. It is well resourced having around 49682 books and 24 journals. It has subscription to E-Databases such as INFLIBNET N-List. Library is fully automated with SOUL 2.0. The daily functioning such as user trekking, footfall and book circulation is managed automatically by software. Library allows open access to users. It facilitates them to review and issue the books for home reading. For immediate referencing, some reference books are kept in the reading hall. There are separate reading halls for students and faculty. Library provides internet facility for its users. Library has subscription to N-LIST which provides 31, 35,000+ e-book and 6000+ e-journals. Library regularly organizes Book Exhibition. It celebrates Vachan Prerna Din, Librarian Day. The entire library is under CCTV surveillance.

Library Rules

Every Student should bring along with him/her own I-Card in the library.
Every Student should check the book when issued, after issuing all the responsibility of the book will be on the student.
Library book will be issued on 7 day's for student & 15 day's for staff.
Book must be return the on due date. Late fee will be charged at Rs.1/- per day.
Book will be renewed only one time in a week.
If the book is lost, torn or damage one and half price of the book will be returned with the late fee from her/ him.
All the books of library must be returned before annual examination.
Book-bank facility is available for economically backward students and scholar students. Student must keep silent in the library and reading hall.
Periodical, reference books are not allowed to be taken at home.
Internet facility is available for the student at technical center.
Duplicate I-card will be issued at an extra charge of Rs-100/-.
CD will be made available as per student's demand.
