I'm Sra. Saroj and I’ve been part of the NAC Bobcat Faculty since 2005. I’ve earned degrees from Ithaca College & SUNY Plattsburgh and have NYS Certifications in Spanish, Health, and Special Education. I am very excited to be your teacher and look forward to a wonderful school year!
In order to pass Spanish, students are required earn a 65% or higher. Grading categories are weighted as follows:
Participation & Practice - 35%
Unit Projects / Performance Tasks - 30%
Tests & Quizzes - 25%
Homework / Online Practice - 10%

ROOMS: Rooms is a two-way communication and messaging tool integrated directly with our NACS app. Parents/Guardians can always check when their children’s homework is due, and students can ask their teacher school-related questions using this app. Click HERE for Rooms.
Students will be expected to be on time, prepared, respectful, and on task. If a student is late or unprepared to the same class 3 times, they will be assigned a school detention.
ALL CELL PHONES AND BACKPACKS ARE TO BE STORED IN LOCKERS, as per the Code of Conduct.
Absolutely NO food or drinks in containers that can spill. Water bottles and reusable sealed bottles are permitted.
CLASSWORK IS DUE ON THE INDICATED DUE DATES. Please visit your Google Classroom for all materials when absent, or contact your instructor. The following table outlines the 7th grade policy for late/missing assignments.

*Please be aware that full/half credit does not guarantee a 100% or a 50%. The credit earned simply means that you will get either the grade that you have earned or half of the credit that you would have earned based on the quality of work turned in.
If there is a circumstance in which you are unable to turn in work on time, please contact the instructor.
Plagiarism of any type will be reported to the administration immediately and dealt with as they see fit according to the Code of Conduct. We will be checking to make sure all work submitted is the students’ work and not anyone else's.
NOTE: If you are ever unsure about what constitutes plagiarism or about the acceptability of work you are doing, it is your responsibility to ask your teacher before you turn in your work.
Extra credit may be offered at teacher discretion. Please contact your instructor.

Will come to school with a fully charged Chromebook daily. The Chromebook is to be in its assigned case.
Must check their email daily.

Will use the bathroom in between classes.
No sweatshirts with the hood up at any time.
Use your time efficiently.
Respect yourself, respect other people, and respect your work.
Ask questions.
Keep an open mind & try your best!
