This is a great book to go along with our Pop Art lesson. James Warhola is the nephew of Andy Warhol and wrote about his experience of having a famous artist as an uncle growing up. Sit back and enjoy!
"Snowmen At Night" is one of my favorite winter books. Of course I love the illustrations but this one is special because the illustrator has hidden shapes in every scene. Look for a cat, a rabbit, a Santa face, and T-Rex. Can you spot them all?
Another favorite winter book of mine. The illustrations help to make you feel for Little Hedgehog who walking out in the cold. It is also a wonderful story about friendship and giving.
What did the illustrator do to show the bad weather? What colors did he use to make you feel cold and lonely? What other things were done in the pictures to help make you feel a certain way?
