Homework and Graded Work (35%) - Homework is assigned and checked on a daily basis. The student will earn a 100% if it is completed and a 0% if not. Graded assignments include but are not limited to: spiral reviews, collected classwork, assigned graded homework, bellringers, etc. A graded assignment will count twice in this section.
Tests/Projects/Quizzes (65%) - Since I am including all forms of assessments in the same percentage, each is weighted differently.
Quizzes - Count once. Students will have the opportunity to correct quizzes for half the points back. Students should utilize their notes or see me for help with corrections. Students will be provided with a week to do their corrections.
Tests - Count twice. Students will not be allowed to do corrections.
Projects - Count Twice.
If a student is absent, he/she is responsible for contacting me for missed work. Students will have a few days to turn in missing work to me (I understand that my class may not be the only class they missed while they were out).
