N.A.C House Clearance - About Us

About Us

Hi, I am Mark Parry the owner of N.A.C Property Clearance, we are a family run professional house clearance company who specialise in House Clearances throughout South Wales, when you call my business it will be me you speak to, if you request an appointment for a quotation it will be me who will meet you at your property, I take full responsibility for all aspects of my business, from the initial contact with a customer right through to completion of a clearance and unless I am with another customer ( or in the dog house with the missus ) I am always contactable 8 am - 8 pm - 7 days a week, in short "the buck stops here".

I'm sorry but if your looking to just sell second hand furniture, antiques or valuables then we are not the company for you, we are first and foremost a clearance company, we are not a second hand furniture or antique dealer we do not just buy second hand furniture from a property, although we do take into consideration any item’s that may have a resale value and use them to cover some of the cost of a house clearance, we are a business who specialise in property clearance, removal and recycling of all household contents, we feel if there is money to be made from the contents of a property then it should be you and your family who benefit.

Our business is designed to help you if you live locally or hundreds of miles away, if you have a limited amount of time or if you are finding it difficult to deal with the emotional aspect of dismantling the life of of a close relative or friend, we can provide you with a reliable and efficient professional house clearance service, we can deal with everything on your behalf in a matter of hours, from the items that have some value to the item's that have minimal or no value and which you may be finding difficult to dispose of otherwise, we provide the labor and transportation of everything in your property for resale or donation, recycling or disposal.

If you have the time and inclination we recommend trying to sell your items first, or give them to friends or members of your family, then if you are able, take all the smaller item's i.e. bric-a-brac, clothing, bedding, books, magazines and any other item’s you could realistically fit in the boot of your car either to a local charity shop or to your local council recycling center and recycle them for free, I have tried to provide as much information of how to sell your items and some insight into how much your items could be worth on this site but I am not an expert, although I do have some knowledge so this information is just a guide.

Trying to sell your items first might not only make you some money to put towards or even cover the cost of the removal and recycling of the items that have no or minimal value, it can also reduce the cost of a house clearance service like ours, by clearing all the smaller items yourself you will not only reduce the cost of house clearance it will also give you the opportunity to check the property efficiently to ensure you have not overlooked any item of value, we can then give you a quotation to clear the larger bulky item’s of furniture etc, but if this is not a realistic option for you then don't worry we can do everything.

We can clear your whole property from start to finish all within a few hours without you having to lift a finger if you require us to, we do not require you to separate or bag any items, all we need you to do is search the property with a fine tooth comb to ensure there are no item's of a financial or personal value that you would like to keep and we can clear and recycle everything else for you, we clear anything and everything, we clear attics and basements, sheds and garages, carpets and stair lifts.

All the information on this site has been written by myself personally, unfortunately the house clearance industry has a reputation of being full of dodgy second hand furniture and antique dealers trying to take advantage of you if they can, however things have changed considerably over the years, 90% of the second hand furniture market has moved either to online markets where you sell your items yourself or to the charities and good causes who now dominate this sector of the industry.

Please don't get me wrong there are honest and professional second hand furniture dealers but they are far and few between, most I know have been put out of business by the competition from charity shops and online markets, and as with any business there are a few rogues out there both in the waste disposal and recycling business and the house clearance industry so I recommend due diligence to be the order of the day.

If you have the time please browse through the information on this site, I have tried to provide as much information as I can about our House Clearance Service and how it works, I have also tried to be as straight forward as possible when it comes to the contents of your property and any value it may have but its still a work in progress, but if you have any questions please feel free to give me a ring if only for a chat.
