Mission:
The Tennessee Alliance for Dual Enrollment Partnerships began in 2023 as a grass-roots cadre of dual enrollment practitioners, advocates, and policy administrators from across Tennessee meeting to discuss best practices, opportunities, and challenges to provide early post-secondary opportunities for high school students.
Purpose:
To support dual enrollment programs through advocacy of best practice, research, and collaboration that promote student access and completion, program development, professional development, communication, and high-quality standards. TnADEP will provide a forum for participants to share best practices, provide training and disseminate information regarding dual enrollment.
Key focus areas include:
Assessing the National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP) standards of quality for current enrollment programs.
Facilitating the exchange of ideas and issues among dual enrollment professionals.
Fostering cooperation among education professionals and agencies.
Fostering strong partnerships between secondary and postsecondary education institutions.
Providing opportunities for professional development for dual enrollment practitioners.
Serving as an advocate and educator for dual enrollment with stakeholders and legislators.
