We got to play with wooden toys and old games made by Fuinseog Woodland Crafts.
There were so many to try and we all had our favourites.

On a lovely sunny day in October the two first classes went on a Nature Walk together.

While we were on our Nature Walk we were using our Maths Eyes.
We collected things from Nature to show that we see Maths all around us. Can you work out what Maths we made?

After we used our Maths Eyes we made some lovely Art with our nature collections that you got to see at home. Here we are hard at work making them.
Houses and Homes
The Design Phase...
When we were studying about homes and houses we got the opportunity to design our perfect house. You can clearly see how much thought is being put in to the designs.
... and Construction.
We brought in cereal boxes but we brought home our dream houses. It took a lot of work and so much masking tape but we worked hard to bring our designs to life.
We finished our work on houses by creating an interesting and welcoming street for our houses to be on.
Thank you 5th Class!
We had a visit from the boys and girls from M. Miriam's 5th class. We read to them from our favourite books and they read to us too. Everyone had a great time.
FREE ART!
We got to be really creative and we were able to make anything we wanted. There was painting and drawing and cutting and sticking. Whether we created a masterpiece to bring home or just relaxed and doodled it was a great afternoon for everyone.

PE - GAA
We have been so lucky to have Rebecca from Eadestown GFC coming in to coach us in Gaelic Football. We have great fun and our confidence grows each week.
