Event 1: Workforce

Thursday, November 14th, 2019

We have heard from you and are offering the chance to "come inside our walls" to see/hear/ask what is happening at Watertown High School!!!

This Building Bridges event will focus on providing insight with two goals.

GOAL 1: Answer the Question - what is Watertown High School teaching? Many industry/business leaders have been out of touch from WHS or don't realize all the things we teach/offer students in preparation for graduation. From Apprenticeships to Technical College & University credits while in HS to Shop and Lab classes to Advanced Placement classes and much more. Watertown Unified School District is working for our community and we want to show it off.

GOAL 2: Create Connections - That's right - we can't do this without YOU! The old saying goes "Two heads are better than one". Well that applies here as well and strengthening relationships (or creating them) between Teachers and Business Leaders can help to ensure a strong future for our students as they prepare for graduation from WHS. We NEED your help too.

WHO IS INVITED?

Business / Community Decision Makers: We want to show off what we do and make connections, this is best done by sharing with leaders in the community. Community Leaders, Business Presidents, Human Resource Directors, Managers, etc...
