Fountain City Fandemonium began in 2019 as the passion project of the staff at the Williams County Public Library. Inspired by their love of all things geeky, the resident “nerds” came up with the idea of hosting a mini comic-con right on the grounds of the main library in Bryan, Ohio.

After years of dreaming, planning, and attending larger conventions—as well as a few hosted by fellow libraries—the team finally decided to dive headfirst into the vibrant world of fandom and comics.

Our very first event exceeded all expectations, welcoming over 600 attendees through our doors! We were blown away by the incredible support from both the local community and other libraries.

From the start, our goal has been to offer something for everyone—creating a safe, inclusive, and fun atmosphere where fans of all ages can come together and celebrate the things they love.
