This is my post grad honours project, done in the year 2020 at the University of the Western Cape in South Africa.
The focus of this project is on the development of a methodology/software that will be used to detect and gain control of the drone control and command system and land it safely by none destructive means. The tool will be named, Drone Defense Tool (DDT). DDT will make use of a reinforcement learning algorithm approach model and hacking methods. The project is theory based and focuses on using Reinforcement learning to develop an agent capable of hacking drones . This project is proposed by the CSIR, with a focus on safety towards civilians and technology.
