Static but Dynamic: Photo taken by Mojalefa Makitle, December 2016, Botshabelo (view from Section F).
There is no any other place in the world that gives such a static impression coupled with beautiful clouds, in the same way as this welcoming town I learned to call 'Home'
New Roads, New Emotions: Photo taken by Mojalefa Makitle, December 2016, Botshabelo West.
Before the government built a tarred road in this empty space right in the middle of nowhere, this vast space used to be a small heaven for me and my childhood friends.
Left in Ruins: Photo taken by Mojalefa Makitle, July 2017, Section K next to Old Nico's place, Botshabelo.
Evening walks are therapeutic, but the sight of ruins of old buildings somehow disorientate sweet memories one once lived.
Twilight Sky: Photo taken by Mojalefa Makitle, Dec 2018, Taung Nameng Street parking, Botshabelo.
Twilight sky after a hot day calls for a youthful night and dancing in between shadows. Hangouts in street parking, engulfed by smooth flow of traffic, capital and ideas. If home wasn't this good, then where would you choose to be?
Rooftop Perspectives: Photo taken by Mojalefa Makitle. Jan 2017, Section K, Botshabelo.
No matter how old I get, the thought of stopping to climb to the rooftop just to gaze upon Botshabelo hills at distant horizon and bustling streets on the ground has never crossed my mind. It’s amazing just how one finds joy in unusual places.
