You have probably heard the phrase "social and emotional learning" before, but maybe you thought it was an educational buzzword that'd be gone by the following year. Well, here we are, and social and emotional learning is still critically important.
Developing your child's social and emotional skills is essential and foundational to your child's success, now and in the future. Teaching students how to understand their emotions, set and reach goals, develop relationship, understand others, and appreciate diversity are critical to their success.

Responsible Decision Making:
Self-Management: The ability to successfully regulate one’s emotions, thoughts, and behaviors in different situations — effectively managing stress, controlling impulses, and motivating oneself. The ability to set and work toward personal and academic goals.
