VEX Base Plates are designed to serve as a foundation for a variety of robotics applications. Use them to create a large stationary robotic arm, or interlock them to build larger manufacturing type systems. These pieces can also be used as large structural pieces in other robotic applications.

The Linear Motion Kit provides a method for VEX builders to create linear mechanisms. Utilize the low friction slide rails for your own mechanisms or combine them with included Rack Brackets and VEX Rack Gears (not included) to build direct driven linear actuators. Each of the plastic slide trucks has self-tapping holes for VEX 8-32 screws which allows for easy assembly.

• The rails have holes on 0.500" increments.

• Two rail lengths included - 12" and 17.5"

• Use with VEX 8-32 hardware (not included)

VEX angle with holes and slots identical to the standard VEX kit. Can be cut to 5, 10, 15, 20 or 25 hole lengths. A mirror "Inverted" part is available.

The Chassis Rails are part of the larger VEX Chassis Kits. This rail has holes on 0.500" increments and another row in-between. This part is a versatile angle with one narrow side and one taller side.

• Made from cold rolled steel, 0.046" thick, zinc plated.

VEX angle without slots. Typically used for structural framing. Good strength on two axis.

• Can be cut on 0.500" increments.

Bent gusset for strengthening "T" joints. Slots on both main flanges allow for adjustment on two axis.

• Can also be used as a motor mount.

• Made from cold rolled steel, 0.046" thick, zinc plated.

Generic gusset for strengthening flat joints. Can be easily cut into a "T" gusset or an "L" gusset.

• Made from cold rolled steel, 0.046" thick, zinc plated.

• Sold in packs of 4 or 8.

Bracket allows parts to be connected at any angle from 0 to 90 degrees. Can also be used as a corner gusset.

This Bracket is designed with the VEX Rack Gear in mind. An application of this bracket and the rack and pinion gear uses the pinion gear to rotate the rack gear which will in turn slide linearly using the VEX Linear Slide Pack. This allows users to create linear motion. Use additional standard VEX Motion Products (not included) to utilize this bracket with the VEX Rack Gear. There are 2 VEX Rack Gear Brackets included in this kit.

Used with the Winch and Pulley kit.
