Thank your for your interest in volunteering your time for MUN! Please join our monthly booster meeting to learn about our current volunteer needs.
The cost of running the THS MUN program, other than advisor salaries, is self-funded. In order to function, the MUN program relies on volunteer contributions and monetary donations to cover the many aspects of the MUN program. The MUN Boosters thank you for your time and donations!
Our program relies on parent donations. It takes approximately $35,000 to run the program each year, which includes student registration and buses for local conferences, advisor travel, and student programming.
Conferences (delegate registration costs, bus transportation): $8,800
MUN Program (spirit wear, senior recognition, awards and other program costs): $6,000
College Scholarships: $4,000
Travel: $13,000
Administrative Expenses: $3,700
We suggest the following amount for an individual one-time donation in order to reach our goal for the 2022-2023 school year, however any amount is appreciated.
ALL GRADES: $150
(Covers the 3, 1-day local conference charges, transportation and meal)Cash or checks made out to THSMUN are welcome and may be submitted to your students MUN Advisor or at any MUN booster meeting. We also accept donations via paypal link on our home page.
THSMUN is a 501(c)(3), and all donations are tax deductible.
Any student wishing to participate in additional non-required out of state and international conferences must register through their advisor and are responsible for the delegate travel expenses.
