I began my arts journey at Cal State Fullerton in 2011. At first, I did not intend to be an art teacher. I began as a business major and switched to a Fine Arts degree after my first semester. Four years into my BFA degree, I discovered Arts Education when I signed up for the wrong class, booking making for children. After this class, I knew I wanted to be in the world of Arts Education.
In 2018, I earned my Masters in Education and Single Subject Credential in Art at University California, Irvine. After graduation, I joined the VAPA team at Beckman High School in the summer of 2018 as the Fine Arts teacher. Following this, I wanted to explore the world of education further. In 2021, I completed my Administrative Credential from Hope International University. As much as I love teaching, I have a passion for being a student. I am always seeking for opportunities to learn and refine my skills.
