This will be your go-to for any updates regarding college-related events, application & admissions information, links to helpful documents, and any helpful resources we think could support you along your college & career journey.Â
END OF YEAR TO-DO LIST (Updated 5/13/24)
Complete Dr. Harrison's Survey ASAP - Data REQUIRED for Senior Awards, etc.Â

Order your LMA final Transcript through PARCHMENT:

Be sure to select "Hold for Grades"
This will ensure that your final Spring 2024 LMA & IVC classes will be included.Â
(Grading will not be completed until after the last day of school.)
Deadline: Transcript orders must be placed by Friday, June 2nd (for LMA to process them)
Transcript orders placed AFTER June 2nd will still be submitted through Parchment but will be processed by TUSD (not LMA)
Plan ahead: Allow 24-48 hours for processing.Â

Seniors (or any student who needs official transcripts from both LMA & IVC) will need to also request an official college transcript directly from IVC.Â
IVC uses Parchment.

Speak with your letter writers and complete the Brag Sheet
Search for scholarships
Take a look each month from now until June
Start Common App (if appropriate)
Finalize your college list (can be discussed with counselor on 1:1’s)
October:Â
Submit Brag Sheet to the Google Form by October 1st
Start CSU and UC Applications
Submit your community college application for Fall 2023
Attend College Fairs, Rep Visits, Workshops
November:Â
Finish and submit UC and CSU application (Nov. 30th deadline)
Submit Common Apps (deadlines vary)
Submit letter of rec packet (if required)
December:
Start FAFSA or Dream Act Applications are open (March 2 deadline)
Letters of Recommendation:Â
Submit Brag Sheet by October 1st
Start your college application process by completing your BRAG SHEET! This sheet will help your letter writer(s) speak to your accomplishments and aid you in the process of writing your "College Resume."
Brag Sheets are required for any senior requesting a Letter of Recommendation from their School Counselor. Please complete the sheet and submit it in the Google Form. All Brag Sheets are DUE by OCTOBER 1st!
