We are so excited for you to be a part of the 2025 Performing Arts production at Hicks Canyon. This is your one-stop shop for all things Madagascar Jr. As we share information about the production, we will add it here for your reference. If you have any questions, please contact us!
Volunteer Sign-ups are Needed!
We’re excited to announce our cast list soon! We have about 50% of families already signed up to volunteer. Once everyone has signed up, we will release the cast list.
We ask that all parents commit to at least 2 hours of volunteering. We need a lot of help to make sure everyone has a safe and fun experience. No experience is necessary for volunteering. We will let you know how you can help with each volunteer opportunity. If families do not sign up to volunteer, the Musical Committee will assign them to tasks still needed.
Check your email to see which cast your child is in! If you’d like to volunteer when your child is there after school, we recommend helping during the Photo Shoot and Tech Rehearsals. If you’d like to sign up for performance weekend and still be able to watch your child’s performance, you can sign up for Hair & Make-up, Costumes, Usher, and Post Show Clean-up. Please note that you will still need a ticket to watch the show. If you would like to help BACKSTAGE, we recommend signing up for the other cast. If you sign up for backstage help, you will be outside during the entire show. You will not be able to watch the performance.
