The State Seal of Civic Engagement recognizes qualifying high school juniors and seniors who have demonstrated excellence in civics education 

Recognition is given to students via a State Seal certificate of completion, it is noted on their high school transcripts, and their high school diploma will bear the State Seal of Civic Engagement.

Students who earn this seal have met the qualifications of each of the five criteria determined by the California State Board of Education and our district’s local criteria.
