I graduated from California State University, Fullerton with degrees in Radio/TV/Film and American Studies.
Prior to taking over the Beckman film program in 2017, I worked worked as professional videographer and filmmaker for a local production company right out of high school and through college. During that time I gained experience working on professional film sets as a producer, assistant camera, and script supervisor, as well as directing commercial projects. Before starting a career in education I specialized in live event videography including sports, concerts, and corporate work.
I strive to empower students and foster an environment where creativity thrives. My mission goes beyond teaching technical skills; I aim to give students the confidence to create the films they envision and ensure their voices are heard. Communication, teamwork, and collaboration are at the heart of my program, equipping students with the skills they need to push the limits of what’s possible at the high school level.
