In an effort to help your student find success in AP Government, I wish to partner with you.  Many times a student has accommodations written into their 504 Plan or IEP that allow for extended time on various coursework. Here’s how we can work together...

For Daily Quizzes or Unit Tests

• The best way to accommodate for extra time on a Daily Quiz is for the student to take the quiz before school.

• The best way to accommodate for extra time on a Unit Test is during 4th or 5th Period. 

• On the day of an assessment, the student should communicate with me that they will not be taking the quiz or test with the class.

• If the student accesses the assessment during class, the student will be required to complete it as timed. 

• The student should request VERSION 2 of the quiz or test.  This will be the untimed version of the assessment. 

For Projects

• At least two days prior to the due date, please communicate with me about any extra time needed.
