DocketMoto is an offline-first digital garage for Android. This policy explains how the current DocketMoto release accesses and handles information. The app does not require an account, and Myth & Machinations LLC does not collect or receive the garage records stored in the app.

Information handled on the device

DocketMoto stores information the rider chooses to enter on the rider’s Android device. This can include:

• Motorcycle and trailer profiles, photos, VIN or frame/serial numbers, license plates, mileage, engine hours, and notes
• Maintenance, reminders, ownership costs, receipt photos, and history
• Registration and insurance details and expiration dates
• Rider-license issuing state and expiration date, but not a full driver’s-license number or image
• Rider-entered crash or incident history, optional insurance claim references, and links to related maintenance

This information remains in the app’s local storage unless the rider explicitly exports a backup or report or uses an Android system picker to save a file.

Data collection and sharing

Myth & Machinations LLC does not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share garage records through DocketMoto. The current release does not request Android Internet or location permission and contains no advertising, analytics, cloud synchronization, subscription, or map feature.

Manufacturer reminders and make/model suggestions use reviewed information bundled with the app. Adding or editing a vehicle does not query an online vehicle catalog.

If a rider taps an official-manual link, DocketMoto asks an external browser to open the manufacturer’s website. The browser request is outside DocketMoto and is governed by the browser provider’s and website operator’s privacy practices. No garage record is attached to the link.

Photos and files

The rider may use Android’s camera or system photo picker to add profile, gallery, or receipt photos. DocketMoto processes and stores those selected images locally. It does not upload them to Myth & Machinations LLC.

The rider may export a readable JSON backup or a motorcycle PDF report through Android’s system document picker. The rider chooses the destination, which can include a local folder or a third-party document provider. A provider selected by the rider may process the file under its own privacy policy.

Backups and reports are not encrypted by DocketMoto. Backups can contain photos and private vehicle records. Reports can contain vehicle identity, maintenance, cost, reminder, note, mileage, engine-hour, and incident information. Reports exclude profile, gallery, and receipt images, insurance policy numbers, rider-license details, and insurance claim references. Riders should save and share exports only in trusted locations.

Notifications

If the rider grants notification permission, DocketMoto schedules motorcycle service reminders locally on the device. Notification permission is optional, and reminders remain available in the app when permission is denied. Trailer reminders are currently shown in the app only.

Retention and deletion

Garage information remains on the device until the rider edits or deletes it, clears DocketMoto’s app storage, or uninstalls the app. Individual records, motorcycles, and trailers can be deleted inside DocketMoto. Clearing app storage or uninstalling removes the local garage unless the rider has retained an exported backup. Myth & Machinations LLC has no server copy to delete.

Automatic Android cloud backup is disabled. An exported backup remains wherever the rider saved it until the rider deletes it from that location.

Security

DocketMoto limits access by omitting Internet and location permissions and by keeping garage records in Android app storage. No method of device storage is completely risk-free. Riders should use Android device security and protect exported files from unauthorized access.

Platform services

Android, the device manufacturer, Google Play, an external browser, or a file provider selected by the rider may process information under their own terms and policies. Those services are outside DocketMoto’s local garage storage.

Changes to this policy

This policy will be updated before a DocketMoto release changes how information is accessed, collected, used, shared, retained, or deleted. The effective date at the top identifies the latest version.
