2nd grade News
Important Information
Peanut-Free Zone – As of now, our classroom is peanut-free for the safety of all students.
Toys and Jewelry- Please do not allow your child to bring toys or jewelry to school. These are causing distractions in the classrooms.
Headphones – Each student will receive one pair from their homeroom teacher. Students may also bring their own from home (please label them). Headphones will be used in both classes.
Water Bottles – No straws allowed. Bottles must be 100% spill-proof and labeled. Students are responsible for keeping track of them throughout the day.
Fine Arts & PE – Please check the Fine Arts Tab for your child’s schedule. Starting Tuesday, students will need to dress out for PE and/or dance and arrive in fine arts dress code. Label all clothes and dance shoes.
Remind App – Join our 2nd Grade Remind for important updates and event reminders.
Handbook – Please read the school handbook with your child.
Behavior Contract – A copy is in your child’s folder. Please read as a family, sign, and return.
Daily Calendar – Check your child’s folder each evening for behavior notes and updates.
Library - Students will start going to the library weekly with their ELAR teachers:
