WELCOME

Pre-K 3 is such an exciting time in your child’s life. For many of our students, this will be their first time being away from family. We are ready to welcome your child into the class and help them become a caring, independent preschooler. It is so much fun to be in the classroom and see this happen! Our goal in Pre-K 3 is to instill a love of learning, independence, and confidence. In addition to teaching academic readiness we also work on social skills and establishing a strong foundation of faith. Through a balance of both small group centers and large group activities our students will learn about letters, letters sounds, numbers, shapes, and colors. They will also learn about Jesus and how to be kind, considerate, and a good friend.

• Scholastic’s My Big World magazines which have seasonal topics that help reinforce the topics with stories, activities, and fun games  

• Explore, discover, experiment, create, question, and problem-solve in small group centers  Incorporate the principles of STREAM (Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics)  

• Develop gross and fine motor skills through daily physical activities

•  BS from Kean University  

• 19 years of Preschool Experience  

• 13 years at St Theresa School as a Teacher’s Assistant  

• CPR and EpiPen Training  

• Mother to 4 great kids 

• I enjoy sports, the beach, and gardening
