Do I need a referral?
You do need a referral from your primary care physician for an evaluation and therapy if you are filing any insurance. If you are considering seeking out of network reimbursement, you may want to call your insurance company to learn if a referral is needed for reimbursement.
Do you take insurance?
Speech Therapy and More is in Network with Soonercare / Medicaid (all 3 MCOs), BCBS, HealthChoice, Humana / Tricare, Aetna / Holista, and United Health Care / Optum. Co-payments and out of Network payments are expected at the time of service.
If out of network, you will be provided with a detailed summary bill, called a superbill, that may be submitted to your insurance company for any reimbursement available to you.
Evaluations
Evaluations can last anywhere from 30 minutes to 90 minutes depending on the needs of the evaluation and the assessments being used. A combination of formal and informal assessments, parent/caregiver interviews, and observations can be used to determine your child's needs. Evaluations include a formal written report indicating the determined strengths, areas of struggle and treatment recommendations.
Therapy
Most speech therapy sessions are provided for 30 minutes. TBI sessions times are dependent upon many factors, those times will be determined after evaluation.
Occupational and Physical Therapy sessions are usually 1 hour or split into two 30 minutes sessions per week.
Therapy sessions are tailored to your child’s needs. Our therapy sessions incorporate evidenced-based treatment strategies.
Payment
Cash, check, or credit cards are accepted at the time of service for co-payments, out of network services and private pay therapy sessions.
