St. Peter's School seeks a passionate, student-centered Foreign Language Instructor to inspire students through the study of language and culture. We are open to qualified candidates in Spanish, American Sign Language (ASL), French, Latin, or other world languages based on candidate expertise and student interest.
The successful candidate will foster meaningful communication skills, cultural awareness, and a lifelong appreciation for languages while supporting the mission of our Catholic school community.

The Foreign Language Instructor will:
Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based instruction for middle and high school students.
Develop students' proficiency in speaking, listening, reading, and writing (or expressive and receptive communication for ASL).
Incorporate authentic cultural experiences and global perspectives into instruction.
Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
Assess student learning and provide timely, meaningful feedback.
Maintain accurate grades and student records using the school's student information system.
Communicate regularly with students, parents, and school personnel.
Collaborate with colleagues to support interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events.
Foster a classroom environment rooted in respect, integrity, perseverance, grace, excellence, and community.
Support the Catholic mission of St. Peter's School.
Bachelor's degree in Foreign Language, Education, Linguistics, ASL, or a related field.
Appropriate teaching license or ability to obtain licensure in Ohio.
Demonstrated content expertise in one or more world languages.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Commitment to student-centered instruction and relationship building.
Willingness to contribute to the life of the school beyond the classroom.
