Here is a step by step guide to collecting your work from
Google Classroom and uploading completed work
Collecting your work
Step 1
Open up Google Classroom and you should see your Stream page
There are four headings here:
Stream - Where all the information comes from your teachers
Classwork - You can find and open all your work from here
People - Your teachers and classmates
Marks - these are what you want when you do your work brilliantly!
Step 2
Go to the Classwork tab and find work set by your teacher
Step 3
When you click on the work files it should open so you can print it out at home and do the work.
Scroll down to see all the different work and read any instructions from your teacher.
Step 4
When you see the files like this you can print them out by pressing this print icon
When you have done your work, you can upload your writing back to your Google Classroom for your teacher to see.
Uploading your work using a phone or tablet
Download the Google Classroom App
This is available for Apple iOS and Android devices. Search the App Store or Play Store for Google Classroom

Do your work on a printed out sheet

Get your parent or carer to take a picture of your work using a smart phone or tablet. There are also scanning apps they can use.

On your phone click on the Google Classroom App

Click on Classwork in the middle at bottom of screen

Click on your assignment and you will see work set by the teacher

Click on Your Work at the bottom and you will see this screen

Click on Add Attachment and you can search for the photo or scan of the work you want to upload

Uploaded files appear at the top. When you are finished uploading click on Hand In

When you hand in your work the teacher will be able to see it and give you feedback

If you make a mistake or want to change your work you can click on the Unsubmit button
Uploading your work using a computer

Open Google Classroom and click on the Assignment to open it (small blue circle icon)

Look at the top right to find Your work

Click on + Add or create and choose File from the drop down menu. You can then navigate to the photo/scan you made of your childs work on your phone. You may need to upload the picture to your computer.

Click on Browse

Find the picture or scan on your computer
Your file will now upload
You should see it under Your work
Now you can click on Hand In
The teacher can now see your work
