How to log in

Step 1

In a web browser search Google for the word “google” . You should now get the blue sign in button at top right side of your screen

Step 2

Click on the sign in button

Step 3

Enter your username and press next

Step 4

Now enter your password

Step 5

Now click on the "Nine Dots" icon at the top right of the screen

Step 6

Here are your Google Apps

The main Apps you will use are:

Google Docs

Google Slides

Google Classroom

Google Drive

Gmail

DONT FORGET... If you can't see Google Classroom... then click on Google Drive first... then go back and look again.

Sometimes it hides!!

Using Google Apps on a phone or tablet

It is easiest to access and use Google Classroom apps on a laptop computer or desktop PC.

If you do not have access to a computer, then Google apps can also be downloaded and used on both Apple iOS and Android phones and tablets. You will need to download and install the following apps on your device.

Ask your parent or carers for help with this as you will need a password for the device.

Classroom

Google Classroom is used to set and mark homework and communicate with children in the class

Docs

Google Docs works just like Microsoft Word. We use it to write stories and reports to share with our class.

Slides

Google Slides is like Microsoft Powerpoint. We use it to create informative presentations about topics to share with our class.

Drive

Google Drive is where all your work is stored and shared. If you cant find it - search in your Drive!
