PERMISSIONS WE REQUEST
Our app requests certain Android permissions to ensure proper functionality. Below is a detailed explanation of each permission and its purpose:
android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO
Enables the app to detect chants or voice counts through the microphone. Audio is processed locally on your device and never recorded or transmitted to our servers.
android.permission.READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE
Allows the app to read chant templates or user-imported files stored on your device. No unrelated personal files are accessed.
android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE
Used to export history data to your device's Download folder. Exported files remain on your device even after app uninstall and are subject to your device's file security.
android.permission.INTERNET
Required for license verification, in-app purchases, or analytics (if enabled). No personal data is uploaded or shared.
android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE
Checks whether an internet connection is available before making network requests.
android.permission.VIBRATE
Provides vibration feedback during chanting or user interaction.

android.permission.BLUETOOTH (Android 10 and below)
android.permission.BLUETOOTH_CONNECT (Android 12 and above)
Allows the app to connect to Bluetooth headsets and wireless microphones for voice-based chant counting.
This enables you to use Bluetooth audio devices instead of your phone's built-in microphone. No data is
transmitted or recorded—audio is processed locally on your device just like the built-in microphone.
android.permission.MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS
Required to route audio input from Bluetooth devices to the app's voice detection engine. This permission
only affects audio routing within your device and does not modify system-wide settings permanently.
Internal permission for broadcast receivers used within the app. It does not expose data externally.
If you deny a permission, certain features of the app may not function as intended.
FOREGROUND_SERVICE & FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE:
Used to run a background service for volume button counting and lock screen counting during meditation sessions. The service monitors hardware volume-button presses and displays a counting notification. Both features are OFF by default and must be explicitly enabled in Settings.
USE_FULL_SCREEN_INTENT:
Used to display the counter interface on your lock screen, allowing you to count without unlocking your device. Does not bypass your device's PIN/fingerprint security.
Device Integrity
Google Play Integrity API is used to verify app authenticity for security purposes (no personal data collected).
DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY
Local Data Storage
• App data is stored securely in your device's app-specific storage area.
• Exported files are saved to your device's Download folder.
• Download folder files are subject to your device's general file security (we have no control over this area).
Data Deletion
• App data is automatically deleted when you uninstall the app or clear app storage.
• Exported history files in your Download folder remain on your device and must be deleted manually.
• In-app options - You can reset voice settings to defaults within the app.
FILE EXPORT AND DOWNLOADS
When you export your spiritual practice history:
• Files are saved to your device's Download folder.
• Files persist even after app uninstall.
• File security depends on your device's general security settings.
• Manual deletion required if you want to remove exported files.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Google Firebase Crashlytics
• Used to detect crashes and improve app stability.
• Collects anonymous technical diagnostic data only.
• Data retention - Crash logs automatically deleted after 90 days.
• No personal or voice data included.
Voice Detection Technology
• Offline processing - All voice recognition happens on your device.

By downloading, installing, or using Chant Counter AI Plus ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.
2.2 LICENSE GRANT
MySecureWisdom grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non- commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
2.3 PERMITTED USE
You may use the App to:
• Count mantras, prayers, or chants for personal spiritual practice
• Track your spiritual practice progress
• Use voice detection features for counting
• Export your personal data for backup purposes
2.4 PROHIBITED USE
You may NOT:
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Remove or modify any copyright notices
• Share or resell your license to others
• Use the App to collect data from other users
• Attempt to bypass in-app purchase verification
• Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws
• Use the App for commercial purposes (such as offering counting services to others for profit) without written permission from MySecureWisdom
2.5 INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
OWNERSHIP:
The App's original code, design, user interface, algorithms, and integration implementation are owned by MySecureWisdom and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
OPEN-SOURCE COMPONENTS:

2.6 PAYMENT AND PRICING
PRICING:
• One-time premium unlock: ₹199 (approximately $2.99 USD equivalent)
• Price may vary by country due to currency conversion and local taxes
• Prices are subject to change with notice
FREE TRIAL:
• 3-day free trial included with full premium features
• No payment required during trial - completely free
• Trial automatically expires after 3 days
• You can purchase premium anytime during or after the trial
PAYMENT PROCESSING:
• All payments processed securely through Google Play Billing
• Payment methods managed by Google Play
• Billing handled by Google - we do not store payment information
• Receipts provided by Google Play
2.7 CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS

2.8 APP AVAILABILITY AND CHANGES
• The App is provided "as-is" and may be modified or discontinued at any time
• We reserve the right to add, modify, or remove features
• Updates may be required for continued functionality
• No guarantee of uninterrupted service
2.9 USER-GENERATED CONTENT
DATA YOU CREATE:
• Counter names, goals, and spiritual practice data belong to you
• You are responsible for backing up your data
• We are not liable for data loss
• Exported files are stored locally on your device
2.10 DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Accuracy of voice detection results
Voice detection accuracy may vary based on ambient noise, speaking clarity, microphone quality, and device performance. The App is intended to assist with counting and should not be relied upon as the sole method for critical or precision-dependent applications.
2.11 LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:
• MySecureWisdom shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App
• Our total liability for any claims related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (₹199 or equivalent)
• We are not responsible for data loss, device damage, or actions by third parties
• We are not liable for issues caused by device incompatibility, operating system updates, or network connectivity
• Voice detection results are not guaranteed to be 100% accurate
2.12 INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MySecureWisdom, its developer, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from:
• Your use or misuse of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party
• Your breach of any applicable laws or regulations
2.13 AGE SUITABILITY AND PARENTAL CONSENT
Age Appropriateness:
• The App is suitable for all ages, including children and families
• Content is appropriate for spiritual practice, meditation, and mindfulness
• No age-restricted content or mature themes
For Users Under 13:
• Parental or guardian supervision is recommended
• Parents should review these Terms and Privacy Policy
• The app does not collect personal information from children
• All data processing occurs locally on the device
Parental Controls:
• In-app purchases are protected by Google Play parental controls
• Parents can manage app permissions through device settings
• No social features or communication with other users

2.14 GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

2.15 DISPUTE RESOLUTION

2. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve the matter amicably within 30 days
3. If unresolved, disputes may be submitted to appropriate legal forums in accordance with Indian law
2.16 SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
2.17 CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
• We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time
• Material changes will be communicated through the App with a prominent notice when you open it
• Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms

2.18 ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and MySecureWisdom regarding the use of the App and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.

• Trial automatically expires after 3 days

• You are NOT charged during the trial period
• No action needed - trial simply expires after 3 days
• You can purchase premium anytime during or after the trial
• No credit card is charged or held during trial
3.3 GOOGLE PLAY AUTOMATIC REFUND (48 Hours)
INSTANT REFUNDS WITHIN 48 HOURS:
• Google Play offers an automatic refund window of 48 hours after purchase
• Refunds are processed instantly without requiring our approval
• Your premium access will be revoked automatically
• This is the fastest and easiest refund method
HOW TO REQUEST (within 48 hours of purchase):
1. Open the Google Play Store app
2. Tap Menu → Account → Purchase history
3. Find "Chant Counter AI Plus" in your purchase list
4. Tap "Request a refund" or "Report a problem"
5. Select your reason and follow the prompts
6. Refund is processed immediately by Google

3.4 DEVELOPER REFUND POLICY (After 48 Hours)
